Which Slug?

You decide... Which slug is the mightier?

I'm deciding which one I should grow from the 1st of Movember?

You be the judge...

Should it be a) Merv?

Or should it be b)Tom?

The chosen beer for nearly 4000 years...

He'brew Beer
OK, we're jealous. When did you last hear of Baptist Bitter? Or Pentecostal Pilsener? Or even Lutheran Lager? Like, never. So if you're in search of a truly divine beer, you'll have to cross the denominational divides big time, and head off to He'brew for "the best (and only) Jewish beer in America".

He'brew, "the chosen beer", offers four different brews. There's Genesis Ale; there's Messiah Bold ("the beer you've been waiting for", ha ha); there's Genesis 10:10 (brewed with pomegranate juice); there's Monumental Jewbelation, and there's even a beer in celebration of Jewish comedian Lenny Bruce. "This Chanukah, candles won't be the only thing getting lit!" says one of the brewery's many inspired sales blurbs.

He'brew: a beer so blessed, you'll wish you were circumcised. Click here for the He'brew website.

Spring Cleaning our lives?

Thinking about how we can spring clean our lives? how can we develop practces and habits which would help remove much of the clutter which seems to accumulate over time?

Any thoughts?

My mind's a little jaded at the moment to think straight! (probably too cluttered)

It is finished II

I have moved the last of my things from my old flat, I visited on Monday to find there is someone called Jason (Lucky fella) who should be moving in on Saturday. My responsibilities have ceased. I feel releived that it's over and as such I've picked up my fridge, lounge suit, jug, toaster, TV from the flat. I feel a little guilty as I had only given them two months notice to replace the stuff. So when I went to pick everything up, there was still food in the fridge and freezer! I guess that's another one of the reasons I decided to move on, there was little responsibility assumed there. TWO MONTHS PEOPLE!!

Here's a photo of the new flat!

From the Rapaki Track...

Such a weight of my mind.

Today in History...

In England, the United Reformed Church was created today in 1972 by the merging of the Presbyterian and Congregational Churches. It had taken 40 years of talks, despite the fact that there were no differences left between them at all, and – after four decades of decline – not much in the way of members either.

Today in 1582 became 15 October under the Gregorian calendar (decreed by Pope Gregory XIII) in Catholic Europe, as the calendar had got out of step with reality. As it was a Catholic innovation, it took Protestant countries a further two centuries to update their calendars.

Bet you didn't know that!

This'll create a "big bang" in Creationist Circles.

"Americans John Mather and George Smoot won the 2006 Nobel Prize for physics on Tuesday for work on cosmic radiation that helped pinpoint the age of the universe and added weight to the Big Bang theory of its birth..."

"...Their work took the Big Bang theory, which holds that the universe began 15 billion years ago as a tiny dot that exploded into today's huge system of stars and planets, out of the realm of mathematical equations and into the world of precise science."

Always wondoured about that...

God spoke and BANG! it happened...
